I have a 9825nr screen flickers and now I have a horizontal line in the middle of the screen.This looks like a mirror affect as though I am splitting the screen in windows. I uninstalled the video driver but seems to not have any affect. When I now turn on the laptop, the screen comes up with the horizontal line. I flashed the bios. Any ideas on a fix???

Sounds like a loose connection (screen flickers) and possible LCD hardware problem (line on screen). Do as others suggest, connect an external monitor and see of the problems appear on it as well. If they do, then the problem is the video chip on the motherboard and you will need to replace the motherboard. If the external monitor is clear of problems. then first check the connections for the LCD and the backlight on the motherboard AND on the LCD itself.

If the flickers stop, you found the loose connection. If the line disappears too, Great. If you cannot get rid of the line, then a new LCD is in order.
