Virtual Private Networking (VPN);TCP/IP;Networking Hardware
Hi, I have two sites that use watchguard routers.
I've managed to get a VPN linking the two sites. problem is I cannot ping the remote router over the VPN using the watchguard ping diag tool in system manager.
I'm wondering if I may have setup one site with the wrong subnet
main site
10.0.1.0/24 (255.255.255.0)
remote site
192.168.222.0/24 (255.255.255.0)
I've done a subnet mask convertor for the IP range and noticed it says the main site should use /28 (255.255.255.240)
the way I have set it up, would it be the cause of my issue ?
also, just to make things random, my pc at the main site can ping the remote router, but a remote pc cannot ping the main router.
