Could anyone provide XML and PHP code to extract data from wbepage and make a comment to your code
sentence in oder to let us digest and understand and follow up for other web page data extract.
For example, like in http://finance.yahoo.com, the Dow' josne index data in HTML pagae. Could you extract the data
9,931.97 of Dow Jones' data. Which date is not a matter. This example to show all of us how to extract data.
If we understand this, we could do it for other web page. We are spending too much time on xml and php tutorial
on PHP , PHP XML, XML, but no one or no webpage directly mention what is exactly code before jump around in the garden
What we need is
echo $Dow-Janes'-Index = 9931.91 or other data in other market data
If you need to make example on other webpage not yahoo that is also welcome .....
